Martinas Rankin

Offensive Tackle, Mississippi State

To think that the Minnesota Vikings are one of the best teams in football is quite a shocking thought. Throughout the 2017 NFL season, the Vikings have not only lost their starting quarterback, but also a stud rookie running back, who was likely headed towards the Rookie of the Year conversation. They have rode the right arm of Case Keenum to win after win, and find themselves on the doorstep of the No. 1 see in the NFC Playoffs.

When it comes time for them to select in the first round next April, they will likely be picking very late in round one. With that pick, they should look to bring in more depth on the offensive line, and Martinas Rankin will likely be available this late in round one. Rankin could be a left tackle at the next level, if he works on his game, but if he moves to the right side, he would be an absolute stud.

Minnesota does not have many holes on defense, and their offense is one of the more explosive units in football, even without Dalvin Cook. If they can continue to beef up the offensive line, they should be a solid offense for years to come. Nobody expected the Vikings to be this good, especially with Keenum under center, but they have proven their doubters wrong each and every week.
