High Salary PG

Kyrie Irving, BOS at NY ($8,700): After missing value in two straight, Irving dropped 48.3 fantasy points on the Heat on Wednesday. Most of Irving’s value comes from his scoring, but he does that better than 99 percent of players in the league. He can produce in the rebounds and assists department, but those numbers have been inconsistent in recent weeks. He’s been around value in four back-to-back games this year. The Knicks are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games. ****

Kyle Lowry, TOR at PHI ($8,500): Lowry had an easy night on Wednesday, playing just 24 minutes in a route over the Hornets. He’s missed value in for of his last five after his great start to the month. He’s become less of a scorer, instead running a high-powered Raptors offense and setting up teammates for looks. His rebounding numbers have been way down, which is the most concerning part of his value. He’s a risk at this price given his recent games, but we know he can produce big. **

Kris Dunn CHI at CLE ($7,800): Dunn continued his fantastic December with 42.7 fantasy points against the Magic on Wednesday. He’s been strong on back-to-backs all season, which is a good sign given the matchup. The Cavaliers are sixth against the position in their last 15 games. Dunn had 29.7 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Dec. 4. I like him at value, but not too much higher. ***
