Toronto Maple Leafs – Tie Domi

Another name that resonates with any and all hockey fans on this list, Tie Domi is arguably one of the most well-known enforcers of all time. Domi beats out a rather illustrious list of men that includes names like Tiger Williams and Wendel Clark. And much like the case with Philadelphia, the problem wasn’t finding a selection, but rather narrowing down all the candidates.

When you are able to boast being the all-time penalty minutes leader for an organization that employed Tiger Williams, you know you did your job well. Domi was another man on this list that would not back down from anyone, and he even seemed to enjoy taking part in fisticuffs.

Over the course of his 12 seasons, 777 games, with the Leafs he was able to accumulate a mind-boggling 2,265 penalty minutes. This is 595 more than that of Williams, which is an impressive feat in itself.

On top of being the Leafs all-time penalty minutes leader he would fight his way into the NHL’s top three all-time in penalty minutes. He would finish his 1,020-game career with an astounding 3,515 minutes in the sin bin. This would make him just one of nine men in the history of the league to break the 3,000-minute mark for a career.

Other names that Domi would find himself along are that of Chris Nilan, Tim Hunter, Craig Berube, Rob Ray, Bob Probert, Marty McSorley, Dale Hunter and Tiger Williams. That is one heck of an infamous group of men to find yourself among.
