FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 25, 2017
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC vs HOU ($11,500): Westbrook has been at value in four straight as the Thunder are slowly rounding into the team everyone thought they would be to start the season. Westbrook is one of the most consistent fantasy players thanks to his ability to contribute in all categories. He’s a big time point producer who also gets it done with rebounds and assists. The Rockets are fifth against the position in their last 15 games, but Westbrook is a guaranteed 50 fantasy point play. *****
Kyrie Irving, BOS vs WAS ($8,900): Irving has been over 40 fantasy points in four straight contests, thanks in large part to his scoring. He did pick up seven assists in his last game, which is an encouraging sign. In a game like this, I have no doubts about Irving showing up and delivering a big-time performance. He’s a guy who raises his game in these situations and you can expect him to do it against on Monday. A fourth straight 40 fantasy point game is certainly doable for the Celtics point guard. *****
Lonzo Ball, LAL vs MIN ($7,500): For the most part, Ball has gotten over his early season scoring struggles. He’s been a double-digit scorer in six straight contests. His rebounding and assist numbers have remained consistent during this stretch and he’s good for a couple of defensive plays. The Timberwolves are 13th against the position in their last 15 games, but their overall defense is 25th in the league. Ball is a smart player who can take advantage of the holes in the Timberwolves defense. I like him to be just over value. ****
