High Value PG

Jeff Teague, MIN at LAL ($6,500): Teague has been inconsistent this season, hitting value in just 55 percent of contests. He’s missed value in two of his last three and five of his last seven. He can put up numbers in all categories, but he’s not overwhelming in any one category. The Lakers are 10th against the position in their last 15 games. There’s a big drop between Teague and the guys below him. I don’t love him, but he’s reliable enough for 25 fantasy points. Still, you might be better off snagging a low salary guy and making up the points elsewhere. ***

Jarrett Jack, NY vs PHI ($4,500): Jack has been at value or better in six of his last seven. He’s rebounded well from the position, plays well alongside Kristaps Porzingis, and can chip in with points. The Sixers are 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Jack needs just 19.1 fantasy points to hit value. That should be no issue given that he’ll get the playing time and this is a good matchup for him to take advantage of. He’s a solid guy to fill out your roster and save money. ****

T.J. McConnell/Jerryd Bayless, PHI at NY ($4,400): McConnell has been more miss than hit this season. He’s been at value in just 41 percent of contests this year. Bayless has been better, hitting value in 58 percent of games. McConnell has the higher ceiling of the two, but Bayless has been more consistent. I like Bayless more if J.J. Redick is able to play. I like McConnell more Redick is able to go. Neither can be relied upon for a big game, but they are cheap options that allow you to spend at other positions. **
