High Value SF

Trevor Ariza, HOU at OKC ($5,600): Ariza was a rare miss against the Clippers and his high salary didn’t help. His salary has dropped to where he needs just 23.5 fantasy points on Monday, which is lower than his season average of 25 FPPG. Ariza should be back up to value in this one. He’s always good for double-digit points and a handful of rebounds. The Thunder are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games. ***

Courtney Lee, NY vs PHI ($5,300): Lee missed practice on Sunday due to personal reasons, but he’s expected to be in the lineup on Christmas. Like Ariza, Lee has been a consistent producer this season. He’s hit value in 75 percent of games this season. The Sixers are 11th against small forwards in their last 15 games, but Lee is more of a shooting guard. Philadelphia is 22nd against shooting guards during that same stretch. Expect Lee to have his usual 25+ fantasy point game. ****

Robert Covington, PHI at NY ($6,600): Covington struggled on Saturday against the Raptors, but so did most on the Sixers. Covington turned in a month-low 23.1 fantasy points in that contest. He should be able to bounce back against a Knicks, although they are ninth against the position in their last 15 games. Still, Covington is a big part of the Sixers offense and contributes with rebounding and steals. He’s had 4+ steals in three of his last four games. ****
