LA Clippers

If you were looking for someone to bash the Clippers this week, you’re at the wrong power rankings. Austin Rivers had one of the best games of his career against the Rockets, taking advantage of the absence of Chris Paul to finish with 36 points and 7 assists. DeAndre Jordan had 72 total rebounds in four games this week, continuing to feast on the boards with Blake Griffin out of the lineup with an injury. It’s disheartening to have Danilo Gallinari suffer another injury, this time a torn glute, but this is what they signed up for when they traded for him and signed him to a three-year contract. C.J. Williams and Jamil Wilson are both getting over 20 minutes a game in the Clippers rotation, and while they’ve worked hard to reach the NBA, it doesn’t seem like the Clippers are going to be able to rely on them to keep them in contention for the playoffs this season.
