Arden Key

Edge, LSU

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were expected by many to be a playoff team, but this team has been downright bad this season. Quarterback Jameis Winston has struggled to stay healthy, and in the process, we have actually had a Ryan Fitzpatrick sighting in Tampa. This team needs Winston to be on the field if they hope to be competitive moving forward, and they should take a step in the right direction in 2018.

When it comes to the defensive side of the ball, the Buccaneers could use some help up front. One such player who would be a nice addition is Arden Key, who has been an electric edge rusher for the LSU Tigers. Key has had to deal with some injuries this season, and is expected to miss the Tigers bowl game, but that should not affect his draft status.

The NFC South is loaded with solid quarterbacks, and the division just might have three playoff teams in 2017. If the Buccaneers want to be competitive, they have to be better at getting pressure on the edges, and Key can help them do that. There is a rumor that Jon Gruden may return to the lead the team next season, and he would absolutely love a player with Key’s motor getting the edge in his return to coaching.
