Mason Rudolph

Quarterback, Oklahoma State

The New York Jets took another loss on Sunday, this time falling to the Los Angeles Chargers by the score of 14-7. Bryce Petty got the start for the Jets in this one, as he tries to latch on to whatever future he has with the Jets organization. Second-year second-round pick Christian Hackenberg was active for the first time this season as well, but once again did not sniff the field.

There are plenty of schools of thought when it comes to the quarterback position in New York. Many believed the team was going to try to tank the season to get one of the bigger named quarterback prospects in this draft class, but this young team has played with a lot of heart. Sure, the Jets could go out and grab a quarterback via free agency, but the odds are they will draft one if they are picking in the top-10.

With that pick, the Jets will likely not be able to get either Josh Rosen or Sam Darnold, but they could grab Mason Rudolph. Rudolph has been an absolute star during his time at Oklahoma State, and has turned them into a very solid football program. He has the perfect mindset to play in New York as well, as he does not take himself too seriously, but is also someone who absolutely commands a locker room, which is something this team has been missing.
