FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 27, 2017
High Value PF
Carmelo Anthony, OKC vs TOR ($6,100): Anthony has been right at value in four straight contests. He’s been getting his scoring numbers and chipping in with a fair share of rebounds. The Raptors are on a back-to-back and didn’t look all that great against the Mavericks frontcourt on Tuesday. Anthony has hit value in 70 percent of games this season, but has posted a dud in 21 percent of games. When he’s missed, he’s typically missed badly. I think he’ll hit on Wednesday based on the matchup and his ability to score. ***
Nikola Mirotic, CHI vs NY ($6,500): After missing value in two straight, Mirotic was back over 30 fantasy points on Tuesday, dropping 35.1 fantasy points against the Bucks. He had 21.6 fantasy points in 20 minutes against the Knicks on Dec. 9. That was his second game back from injury. The Bulls are on a back-to-back, but the Knicks have struggled on the road all season. Mirotic should be able to be over 30 fantasy points in this one. ****
Bobby Portis, CHI vs NY ($4,500): Portis has been a solid play all season as he’s hit value in 74 percent of contests. He had 23.1 fantasy points on Tuesday against the Bucks. He had 18.6 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 9, but played just 16 minutes in that game. He averages 1.14 FPPM this season, showing that he’s a productive player when he does play. His low salary allows him to greatly exceed expectations. The Bulls 28th against the position in their last 15 games. ****
