22. T.O. mime

Terrell Owens had a long 14-year career in the NFL and even towards his last years, we still saw the production and touchdown celebrations. Granted they might not have been what we saw in early in the 2000s but Owens is known as one of the best wide receivers in NFL history for a reason. He always knew how to put on a show.

Owens played his last NFL season with the Bengals in 2010 and capped off his 150th career touchdown with a mime celebration. He pulled the rope and even did the glass box. You might as well of thought it was done by a professional because Owens made it look easy. That’s a really hard celebration to pull off but when you do, it looks amazing.

It was a silent celebration and Owens could have used some of that silence throughout his career. Known as a talkative player, Owens rubbed many people the wrong way with his antics and comments. Some went as far to say he was a locker room cancer at points. Knock him all you want but Owens kept you quiet with the numbers he put up. Take away all of the other issues and he’s in the Hall of Fame easy.

It’d be great to see Owens in today’s NFL and see the kind of touchdown celebrations he’d pull off. With no limits, I’m sure we’d seen even better ones than we saw over his career.
