High Salary PG

Tyreke Evans, MEM at GS ($7,700): Evans has been a monster in his last four games, averaging 50.75 fantasy points across that slate. He had 30 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 20, which is the only game he missed value in his last seven. If Steph Curry is back, Evans’ job does become a bit easier simply because he is a weak link on defense. The Warriors are also on a back-to-back, which should help Evans and the Grizzlies. He’s been at value or better in 73 percent of games this season, showing great consistency. ****

Jrue Holiday, NO vs NY ($7,100): Holiday has hit value in eight of his last nine games. The Pelicans are on a back-to-back, but they’re at home against the Knicks. New York ranks 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. Holiday has hit value in three of five back-to-back games, including being 14+ fantasy points over value in two of those contests. The Knicks have been a poor road team all season and the Pelicans should come out firing after their performance on Friday. ****

Elfrid Payton, ORL vs MIA ($7,100): Payton had 39 fantasy points against the Heat on Tuesday. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in five straight contests. With the Magic getting Aaron Gordon back, Payton’s job becomes a bit easier, even if Gordon isn’t quite himself. Payton has been doing it all for Orlando in recent games and his development is one of the more under-the-radar stories this season. The Heat are on a back-to-back. ****
