High Salary C

Joel Embiid, PHI at PHO ($10,500): Embiid is scheduled to return on Sunday after being held out of the first game of the back-to-back. Of course, he never know with the Sixers, so check his status before making any decisions. Assuming he plays, he’ll likely get his usual points and rebounds. He had 51.4 fantasy points against the Suns on Dec. 4. The Suns are 28th against the position in their last 15 games. The Suns are playing better and Tyson Chandler is still a good defender, but Embiid has turned into a big time fantasy player this season. ****

Clint Capela, HOU vs LAL ($7,800): Capela plans to return the lineup on Sunday and that should be a big jolt for Houston on both ends of the floor. He’s their best rim protector and rebounder. He also gets plenty of easy points in the paint. He had 33.6 fantasy points in 23 minutes against the Lakers on Dec. 3. The Lakers are 21st against the position in their last 15 games. Capela should easily hit value in this one and there’s a good chance he’s well over. ****

Dwight Howard, CHA at LAC ($8,400): Howard has been at 42+ fantasy points in three straight games. He’s coming off his second best fantasy game of the season, dropping 57.1 fantasy points on the Warriors. He had 42.7 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 18. He’s still a reliable scorer and a big time rebounder, whose assist numbers have been up in recent games. He’s also good for a defensive play or two. ****
