FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 31, 2017
High Value C
Julius Randle, LAL at HOU ($5,900): Randle started for the first time all season on Friday and contributed 34.4 fantasy points against the Clippers. There’s no guarantee that he starts again, but if he does, he’ll hopefully see 25+ minutes once again. If that’s the case, he’ll be well over his 24.7 fantasy point value. However, who knows what Luke Walton is going to do with his young center. Randle is averaging 12 minutes in two games against the Rockets this season. Due to the unknown nature of Walton’s rotation, I still consider Randle a risk. **
Tyson Chandler, PHO vs PHI ($4,200): Alex Len and Marquese Chriss have been in-and-out of the rotation, but Chandler’s minutes have been relatively consistent. The Suns will certainly need his defense in this one if they hope to impede Joel Embiid. Chandler played 37 minutes against the Sixers on Dec. 4, contributing 41.4 fantasy points in that contest. He’s a reliable rebounder who can chip in with a handful of points and make a couple of defensive plays. ***
Jarrett Allen, BKN at BOS ($4,000): If you want to save money in order to spend on the guard positions, Allen is a low-cost option who has been consistently solid in recent games. He’s hit value in four of his last five, going over 20 fantasy points in three of those contests. He’s a solid rebounder who has chipped in with a handful of points. The Celtics are a tough matchup, but Allen has earned his spot in the rotation and is playing solid minutes. ***
