High Value PG

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL vs GS ($5,600): After struggling for a few games following his return from injury, Smith Jr. is starting to look comfortable again. He followed up his season high 54 fantasy point game with 35 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. He had 22.5 fantasy points against the Warriors earlier this season, but that was back on Oct. 23. He’s grown more into his role since that time. The Warriors are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games. The Mavericks are playing well as of late and Smith Jr’s play is a big reason why. I also continue to love J.J. Berea ($5,100), who is more consistent, but doesn’t have as high of a ceiling. ****

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN vs MIN ($6,100): The Timberwolves are first against the position in their last 15 games, but I don’t trust their overall defense, which is 23rd in the league. Dinwiddie has been a disappointment as of late, hitting value just once in his last five games. But his salary has dropped below the average and he’s due for a big game against a bad defense. Most people are going to stay away from Dinwiddie on Wednesday and I admit that he is a risk. But I’d be willing to bet on him if you play multiple lineups, especially with Caris LeVert out of the lineup. **

Malcolm Brogdon, MIL vs IND ($4,800): You’ll have to save money somewhere if you want to grab a couple of superstars on Wednesday and Brogdon is one of the few solid players who check in under $5,000. He’s been at value or better in three of his last four games. The Pacers look all out of sorts, on both ends, without Victor Oladipo. Brogdon is a solid scorer and rebounder off the Milwaukee bench. He’s hit just two threes in his last five games, but he has the ability to knock them down from deep. I like him to be 5+ fantasy points over value and a reliable play. ***

HM: Ricky Rubio ($5,300)
