2018 NFL Mock Draft: Baker Mayfield to Bills
By Brad Weiss
The Arizona Cardinals finished up their regular season with an emotional victory against the Seattle Seahawks, in what would prove to be head coach Bruce Arians last game as the man in charge of the team. Arians told his team after the game that he was done coaching, and now the search is on for his replacement. Also this week, the team found out that quarterback Carson Palmer would be retiring, so the time has definitely come to fill that role long-term.
The 2018 NFL Draft class is loaded with quarterback talent, and Mason Rudolph is certainly a first round name. Rudolph has been an absolute beast during his time at Oklahoma State, turning the program into one of the best in the Big 12. Not only is Rudolph an incredible player on the field, but he is an even better person off of it, and whoever drafts him will be lucky that he is the one leading the team onto the field of battle.
There is a lot to be excited for in Arizona, as they still have one of the better running backs in the NFL. The Cardinals also have some great talent on defense, so they are not too far away from being a winning team in the near future. Many felt they should have went quarterback in the 2017 NFL Draft, and in 2018, they are going to have to find their next franchise guy under center.
