2018 NFL Mock Draft: Baker Mayfield to Bills
By Brad Weiss
The Seattle Seahawks find themselves out of the playoffs this season, and it really ended up being a disappointing year. The Seahawks needed to win in Week 17 to clinch a playoff spot, but were instead beaten at home by division rival Arizona. They have to go back to the drawing board this offseason, as they lost a ton of veteran talent due to injury, and there are questions all over this roster.
The Seahawks had to pay Russell Wilson a ton of money, and the rest of the roster is struggling because of that. Seattle is pretty thin up front on offense, and that is cause Wilson to run for his life on most plays. The team also did not get much production from the running back position all season long, and they should look to draft a back with their first pick in April.
While Saquon Barkley is by far the best running back prospect in this draft class, the team could turn to an LSU back for help next season. Derrius Guice led the SEC in rushing yards as a backup to Leonard Fournette in 2016, and had another solid campaign in 2017. Seattle started six different players at running back this season, so bringing in a guy like Guice could give them the stability they have not had since Marshawn Lynch.
