For most of the begging of the season, it looked like the Atlanta Falcons would fail to make the playoffs. Coming off the worst loss in Super Bowl history, as they blew a 28-3 fourth quarter lead, the Falcons looked to have a hangover through the first two months of the season. Well, they recovered in time, and now that they have made the playoffs, teams in the NFC have to be worried about the firepower they have on both sides of the ball.

Quarterback Matt Ryan has been here before, and is going to put up points no matter who they play. The defense also has some great playmakers, but they could use some help up front on that side of the ball. Unlike most teams, the Falcons are pretty set on the edges, but could use a couple of playmakers on the inside of their defensive line.

During his time at Michigan, Maurice Hurst has established himself as one of the better defensive players in college football. He is an absolute beast in the middle of that Wolverines defensive line, and is one of those hybrid players who can play all over the defensive line. He has tremendous size and footwork, and on the Falcons defense, he would slide in as a starter in year one next season.
