Thanks to a trade they made with the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2017 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills will have two picks in the first round in 2018. With their first pick, they are likely to select a quarterback, as they have seemingly given up on Tyrod Taylor. With their second pick in round one, look for them to draft someone on the other side of the ball, specifically a linebacker who can dominate a ballgame.

That linebacker could be Rashaan Evans, who is likely to be a first round selection next April. Evans has the ability to play all over the field, and the Bills need more playmakers who can get the job done on defense. The Bills are very close to being a perennial playoff team, and with two picks in the first round, this could be a franchise-changing draft for them.

Buffalo did make the playoffs this season, but they needed a lot of help. First-year head coach Sean McDermott seems to be growing in his new role, and he has to be happy with the kitty of first round picks the team has next year. He is a solid young coach, and with two elite college players joining his already solid roster, the culture in Buffalo could finally be changing for the better.
