51. . Defensive Back. Iowa. Josh Jackson. 27. player

The Los Angeles Rams have to be one of the bigger surprises of the 2017 NFL season, as so many people figured they would be awful once again. In the 2016 NFL Draft, the team traded the world to go up to No. 1 and select quarterback Jared Goff, and he looked pretty bad last season. However, the Rams brought in a new head coach in Sean McVay, and he and Goff have been perfect for each other, and have led the team to the playoffs.

When it comes time for them to draft in the first round next April, they will likely be drafted late in round one, as they have the talent to make a serious run through the playoffs. With that pick, the Rams should look to get better on defenses, especially in the secondary. Their top pick in 2018 should be a cornerback, and Josh Jackson from Iowa would be a solid pick this late in round one.

Jackson led the country in interceptions this past season, and even picked up another on in the Pinstripe Bowl. The Rams have so much talent up front on defense, so adding the defensive backfield makes a lot of sense. McVay and Goff have this franchise heading in the right direction, and Jackson would be the kind of add-on that could make them even better as they head to year two together.
