2018 NFL Mock Draft: Baker Mayfield to Bills
By Brad Weiss
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in line to make another run at the Super Bowl, though there is one huge question as they head into the AFC Playoffs. Star wideout Antonio Brown injured his calf late in the 2017 regular season, and his status for the Divisional Round is up in the air. This team needs him if they are going to go all the way, although rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster certainly had no problem picking up the slack in Week 17.
When it comes time for the team to draft in April, they will likely be picking late in round one, and could bolster their defense with the pick. 2017 first round pick T.J. Watt has become a stud for the team, and has played so well that the team had no room for legend James Harrison. With their first round pick in 2018, the team should bring in another Harrison, but this time a defensive back from Alabama.
Ronnie Harrison is a huge reason why the Alabama Crimson Tide are headed back to another national title game, and he is certainly going to be a top pick in next April’s NFL Draft. He would fit well in Pittsburgh, as he plays with the kind of fire head coach Mike Tomlin comes to expect from his players. Pittsburgh is going to be good for a long time if they continue to add quality young talented defensive players to their already elite cast of characters on offense.
