With their win on Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts locked up the third overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The New York Giants also won their Week 17 game, so there was a possibility that the Colts could have leapfrogged them and picked second. Still, they are going to get an elite player drafting so high, and the hope is they are not going to have to dip into this very deep quarterback pool come draft night.

Star quarterback Andrew Luck had injured last offseason, and the expectation was that he would be ready to go at some point in 2017. What ended up happening is that the signal-caller was put on injured reserve, ending his 2017 campaign. The team has said that he will be back with avengence next season, which means the Colts can spend a draft pick on some talent on the other side of the ball.

With that pick, the Colts should look to bring in Bradley Chubb from N.C. State, who has proven to be one of the elite edge rushers in college football during his time with the Wolfpack. Chubb has the size, and speed to get the edge against any offensive lineman at the college level, and should be a solid pass rusher in the NFL as well. He has an incredible motor, and some of the best Colts teams we have seen have had a devastating pass rusher coming off the edge.
