Orlando Brown. 5. player. 45. . Offensive Tackle. Oklahoma

The Denver Broncos need help on both sides of the ball, but at least they are getting a bit of stability at the head coaching position. John Elway said this past week that the team is bringing back Vance Joseph for year two, so at least they have that position set. During the 2017 NFL Draft, the Broncos selected an offensive tackle in the first round, and they could go the same route when they select with the fifth pick overall.

While it might not be a sexy pick, the Broncos need help up front on offense. Orlando Brown from Oklahoma was a first-team All-American this past season, and for good reason. He is one of the better offensive tackle prospects we have seen in the last couple of drafts, and should be able to stay on the left side at the next level. Denver has an issue at quarterback, so whoever plays next season, needs more talent in front of them.

Denver still has a solid defense, and they do have some playmakers on offense that can move the chains. The problem is that the quarterback is always running for their lives, so it makes sense that the team would make an investment in the offensive line once again. Brown may be a bit of a head-scratcher this early in round one, but we have seen what an elite left tackle can for a team from one year to the next.
