30. . Quarterback. Wyoming. Josh Allen. 6. player

The New York Jets finished a pretty rough season, though they did play hard for head coach Todd Bowles. Because of that, the team made a commitment to Bowles, signing him to a two-year contract extension. The one thing Bowles did not do is lose the locker room, and that is going to prove huge with all the young talent on this roster.

During the last offseason, the Jets brought in Josh McCown to be their quarterback, and he had a career-year in 2017, despite the fact he is getting close to 40 years old. While it is possible the team brings him back in some role this upcoming season, it would be wise for the organization to draft a quarterback in round one next April. That pick could be Josh Allen, who ended his Wyoming career on a high note in the team’s bowl game.

Allen has drawn comparisons to Carson Wentz, as he is a big kid who can make every throw. He did not have much talent on his team last season, and because of that, he struggled to not only stay healthy, but put up eye-popping statistics. That is not going to matter at the next level, and with a good young cast in place for the Jets moving forward, Allen could be the franchise quarterback they have been lacking for many years.
