Manuel Lanzini, West Ham

The West Ham player has also been connected with Liverpool since the Coutinho rumors picked up again this month. While The Sun newspaper recently reported the Argentine was Liverpool’s top target, the Reds have been tight-lipped about the possibility.

Lanzini would also make for a great replacement. He brings South American flair to his game like Coutinho, but has the added advantage compared to other possible replacements in that he has already achieved some success in the Premier League. The attacking midfielder has also put up some impressive numbers since his arrival at West Ham, tallying nine goals in 51 matches.

For the Hammers, the 24-year-old Lanzini has been key and his loan from UAE-based club Al Jazira was made permanent after a £9.4 million transfer went through. His price tag, like that of Lemar, has grown over the past year. While Lanzini’s market value has reached £40 million, the Hammers are expected to snub any offers that come their way from the Reds.
