FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 6, 2018
High Salary SG
Victor Oladipo, IND vs CHI ($9,300): Oladipo is a game-time decision so check his status before making any decisions. If he’s unable to play, look towards Eric Grodon as a replacement. Assuming he plays, expect him to make up for lost time. I always worry about guys coming off injuries, but given how good Oladipo has been this season and the fact that he does everything for the Pacers, I expect him to pick up where he left off offensively. He’s averaging 44.4 fantasy points in two games against the Bulls this season. ****
Bradley Beal, WAS vs MIL ($8,600): Beal has been on fire in recent games, going over 45 fantasy points in four of his last five. He needs just 36.8 fantasy points to hit value on Saturday. He had 32.5 fantasy points against the Bucks on Nov. 20, which might be slightly concerning if not for Beal’s recent hot streak. Until he cools off, there’s no reason to go away from him. Even if he’s not scoring 30-plus points, he puts up solid rebound and assist numbers. ****
Klay Thompson, GS at LAC ($7,300): Everyone on the Warriors is listed as questionable or probable except for Thompson. He’s been over value in two straight. If any other Warriors All-Star misses this game, I like Thompson to be nicely over value, especially if that player is Kevin Durant. No Durant means Thompson becomes the second scoring option and has a better chance of getting hot from the field. He’s reliable enough to get 30-plus fantasy points. ***
