FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 6, 2018
High Value SG
Justin Holiday, CHI at IND ($5,800): Holiday has been at value or better in five of his last six. That includes 30.4 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 29. The return of Victor Oladipo should make the Pacers defense slightly tougher, but Holiday should still get his numbers. He needs 24.8 fantasy points to hit value on Saturday. If Oladipo doesn’t play, he’ll probably flirt with another 30 fantasy point game. If Oladipo does play, he’ll still be at value. ***
Andrew Wiggins, MIN vs NO ($5,700): Wiggins has been inconsistent all season, hitting value in just 53 percent of games. He’s been hit-or-miss recently and coming off a 22.1 fantasy point game against the Celtics. The Pelicans are 27th against the position in their last 15 games. Wiggins had 46.1 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 29, so this is a good matchup and one he’s had success against. If he’s not scoring, he’s not going much of anything. I like him to score in this one. ****
Dwyane Wade, CLE at ORL ($5,000): Wade has been under 16 fantasy points in two of his last four. He had just 12.4 fantasy points against the Magic on Oct. 21. I would not put much stock in that number as he was still starting in that game and the Cavaliers were still figuring things out. They’re figuring things out once again, but that’s largely due to incorporating guys back from injury. The return of Isaiah Thomas helps the value of Wade. ****
