FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 6, 2018
High Value SF
Lance Stephenson, IND vs CHI ($6,000): If Victor Oladipo doesn’t play, Stephenson will once again draw the start and be tasked with running the Pacers offense. He’s hit value in three of his four games as a starter, which includes a 31.3 fantasy point effort against the Bulls on Dec. 29. If Oladipo returns, Stephenson will likely be right around value as he’ll continue to play solid minutes off the bench. But without Oladipo, he should be around 30 fantasy points again. ***
Gerald Green, HOU at DET ($5,700): Green has been great in his last four games from the Rockets, going 19-plus points over value in those contests. His salary has climbed appropriately as he now needs 23 fantasy points to hit value. Given the amount of shots he gets in the Rockets offense, there’s no reason not to think he’ll do it again. There’s always a chance he goes cold, but it won’t be for a lack of opportunity. If the Pistons play with little effort again, Green will make it rain once more. ****
Allen Crabbe, BKN vs BOS ($5,300): Caris LeVert is doubtful and DeMarre Carroll is questionable for Brooklyn. If both guys are out for the Nets, Crabbe is likely to see more opportunities across the board. He had 24.1 fantasy points against the Celtics on Sunday. That number would put him over value on Saturday. I like him at value if LeVert and Carroll can play and well over value if they can’t. ***
