FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 6, 2018
High Value PF
Trey Lyles, DEN at SAC ($6,400): Until Lyles cools off, which may be never at the rate he’s going, keep adding him to your team. He had a season high 41.9 fantasy points against the Jazz on Friday. He hasn’t performed well in two games against the Kings this season, but both of those games were before he became a consistent part of the rotation. Lyles has been a consistent scorer and rebounder off the bench since the start of December and he’s unlikely to slow down now. ****
Domantas Sabonis, IND vs CHI ($5,800): Sabonis has been at value or better in five of his last six. He had 36.8 fantasy points against the Bulls on Dec. 29. The return of Victor Oladipo will cut into his production slightly, but it could open up things for him even more. He should see plenty of minutes against the Chicago bigs, meaning he’ll have more than enough opportunity to produce. ***
Zach Randolph, SAC vs DEN ($5,500): Randolph hasn’t played great recently, hitting value just twice in six games. The good news is that the Nuggets are on a back-to-back, don’t play as well on the road, and Randolph is averaging 28.3 fantasy points in two games against them this season. Randolph’s minutes have taken a slight dip, which hurt this overall production. I still like him at value (23.8 fantasy points) in this one. ***
