High Salary SG

DeMar DeRozan, TOR at BKN ($8,800): DeRozan had 40.25 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Nets on Dec. 15. He missed value by two fantasy points on Friday against the Bucks, but that was mainly due to a lack of minutes as he played just 29 minutes in that contest. As long as this game is competitive, he should be back over 30 minutes on Friday. The addition of a three-point shot has made DeRozan even deadlier in DraftKings leagues. He gets his points and has turned into a reliable playmaker as well. *****

Jimmy Butler, MIN vs CLE ($8,400): Butler has missed value just twice since Dec. 18. The Cavaliers are 29th against the position in their last 15 games and this game should be an offensive shootout. If that’s the case, Butler is going to put up big numbers. He’s still the most reliable Minnesota player when it comes to getting points and assists. The Cavaliers defense continues to look lost and the return of Isaiah Thomas doesn’t exactly help things. Butler should have no problem hitting the 37.4 fantasy points he needs for value. *****

Lou Williams, LAC vs ATL ($7,900): No Austin Rivers and likely no Milos Teodosic and Blake Griffin means Williams is about to take all the shots. Alright, so he won’t take all the shots, but he’s going to take any shot he wants and then some as the Clippers task him with carrying the offense. The Hawks are on a back-to-back and just got thumped by a struggling Lakers offense. The opportunity will certainly be there for Williams to post a monster game. Given the matchup, there’s a good chance he does it. *****
