FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 9, 2018
High Salary SG
DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs MIA ($9,300): DeRozan continues to put up monster games, posting his third 50+ fantasy point game in four contests with Monday’s 51.25 fantasy point effort. If Kyle Lowry is out, DeRozan will be the primary focus of the Raptors offense. That means more opportunities, but also more attention. He stepped up when Lowry got injured last season and he’s more polish to takeover in this situation this year. ****
CJ McCollum, POR at OKC ($7,500): McCollum has been 10+ fantasy points over value in three of his last four. With Damian Lillard out, he’ll continue to be the primary scorer for the Trail Blazers. The Thunder are 21st against the position in their last 15 games and that number is probably even lower recently due to the injury to Andre Roberson. Expect McCollum to hit value (31.8 fantasy points) and then some on Tuesday. *****
Evan Fournier, ORL at DAL ($6,000): Fournier is actually $600 less than the average salary, but the shooting guard market is pretty thin on Tuesday. He’s missed value in three straight. The Mavericks are first against the position in their last 15 games, so this isn’t even a good matchup for the Magic guard. This game could be a shootout and if it is, Fournier will contribute. But his recent play makes him a risk. **
