High Value SF

Josh Richardson, MIA at TOR ($5,600): Since Dec. 1, Richardson has missed value just three times. The highest number he’s missed by is three fantasy points. So, he’s not missing often, and when he is missing, he’s not missing by much. That bodes well for his project on Tuesday. The Raptors are on a back-to-back, played in overtime, and could be missing their starting point guards. Richardson should easily his the 22.5 fantasy points he needs to hit value. ***

Mario Hezonja, ORL at DAL ($4,800): Jonathon Simmons is questionable for Tuesday’s game. If he is ruled out, Hezonja should draw his second straight start. If he starts, he’s more likely to play well, which means he’s more likely to play more. He’s been good as a starter this season, averaging 26.7 fantasy points in eight starts. I don’t like him quite as much off the bench because he’s less likely to get big minutes if he’s not playing well. But his low salary should put him at value even off the bench. As a starter, he’ll be a good 5+ fantasy points over value. ****

Evan Turner, POR at OKC ($4,000): Not a whole lot cooking at the small forward position on Tuesday. Behind Hezonja and Richardson, your best bets are Turner and Vince Carter. Turner is the slightly better option because of the lower salary and the opportunity. Carter has been better as of late, but he’s not exactly reliable. Neither is Turner, but you know he’s going to play 25+ minutes, giving him more of a chance to put up numbers. *
