High Salary PF

Aaron Gordon, ORL at DAL ($8,300): Gordon has been at value or better in three of the last four. He had 43.1 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Saturday. The Mavericks are 20th against the position in their last 15 games. Gordon puts up big numbers in scoring and rebounding and will likely do so again against the Mavericks. He’s the most reliable player on the Magic and he’ll need to carry the offense once again if they hope to knock off Dallas. ****

Carmelo Anthony, OKC vs POR ($6,300): Gordon is technically the only high salary power forward, which goes to show the weakness at the position on Tuesday. Anthony missed value against the Suns, but only by 1.7 fantasy points. He had 19.2 fantasy points in 23 minutes against the Blazers on Nov. 5. He’s been a reliable scorer in recent weeks, so I would not be too concerned about his scoring numbers being down against Phoenix. The Thunder as a whole play better at home and Anthony should be back up to value. ***

Kelly Olynyk, MIA at TOR ($6,000): Olynyk is well under the average salary and has seen his salary drop by $1,000 over the course of two games. That’s good news for potential owners on Tuesday as he needs just 26.3 fantasy points to hit value. With the Raptors on a back-to-back, they may have tired legs. Olynyk is unlikely to collect just two rebounds once again, so he should get his usual double-digit points and 5+ rebounds to go along with a handful of assists. ***
