Each NFL team’s Olympic candidate

Denver Broncos: Von Miller, Ice hockey
The Denver Broncos’ dominant defense in recent years has been lead by captain and outside linebacker Von Miller. He’s spent seven years making life miserable for NFL quarterbacks and has recorded double-digit sacks in every season except for one. Miller makes it look easy and might want a new challenge sooner or later. How about taking a shot at the Olympics? He’d be the team’s candidate, no question.
Just watching Miller play, you can tell how dominant he is. I’m sure offensive tackles who’ve come up against him would say the same exact thing. Miller has had such great success even as a rookie, which shows his talent is on a level of his own. Even with the struggles on the offensive side of the ball in last few seasons, Miller and the Broncos’ defense are what has kept this team afloat the best they can. They’re proof that a defense can win championships and they proved that in 2015.
I’d like to see Miller take on ice hockey along with Myles Garrett. Just imagine the two skating down the ice. I don’t care how good of a hockey player you are, the last thing you want to do is get pinned on the boards by those two. That’s a nightmare waiting to happen, no matter how tough you are. Miller a perfect size as well, at 6-foot-3 and 237 pounds. It’d be an interesting one to see and I think with the right training, Miller could pull it off.
