New York Giants: Odell Beckham Jr., Ski jumping

He may have been out for the majority of the 2017 season but Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. would be the team’s Olympic candidate if healthy. The Giants have been decimated by injuries this season and have plenty of struggles but once Beckham gets back on the football field next season, this team will be miles improved.

The 11 teams who picked ahead of the Giants in the 2014 NFL draft have to be kicking themselves for passing up on Beckham because in terms of talent he’s one of the best wide receivers we’ve ever seen step on the football field and that’s saying a lot. Beckham missed four games to start his rookie season and still finished the year with 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. He caught for over 1,300 yards his first three seasons and would’ve likely been around that same mark this season hadn’t be broken his ankle. The Giants haven’t been the same since and Beckham’s absence has been more than noticed.

What makes Beckham so incredible is his ability to catch the football. He would be fine with just one hand and makes even the toughest catches look routine. Beckham made arguably the greatest catch in NFL history just two years ago against the Cowboys. If you aren’t amazed by that then I’m not sure what’s wrong with you. The man has natural stickum and makes Jerry Rice look bad for that.
