Cincinnati Bengals: A.J. Green, Nordic combined

Just like Julio Jones is the most important weapon to the Atlanta Falcons, A.J. Green is the same to the Cincinnati Bengals. When healthy, Green is an unbelievable talent. He’s amassed over 8,000 receiving yards in almost seven seasons know is always considered a top wide receiver any given week. With just one catch, he can change the course of a football game.

Green isn’t your typical receiver, he’s a receiver that goes out and gets the ball. Whether it’s a short throw or a 50-50 ball, if Green is going up for the catch, odds are is that he’s coming down with the football. That’s the luxury when you’re a 6-foot-4 receiver. You’re going to have a height advantage against every defender you come against and it also helps to be as athletic and talented as Green is. Just ask teams like the Baltimore Ravens, who have to face Green twice a season, how playing against him is. You wouldn’t get back a lot of positive answers that’s for sure.

A little bit out of the box here, but if Green is going to be Olympics, I’m putting him on a pair of skis in the Nordic combined event. It not only involves skiing but jumping as well. It’s quite the spectacle to watch if you’ve never seen it before. That combines too of Green’s best attributes together. If he can do that against a player in pads, I’m sure he’d have no problem coming up against an opponent in the ring.
