Each NFL team’s Olympic candidate

Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett, Ice Hockey
It doesn’t get much worse for the Cleveland Browns as an organization but despite their record, they’ve got talent, especially on the defensive side of the ball. One of those talents comes in rookie defensive end Myles Garrett. The No. 1 overall pick may not be a polished defensive end yet but has all the raw talent in the world. That’s exactly why he’d be the Browns’ choice for an Olympic candidate.
Coming out of Texas A&M, Garrett was a consensus All-American and destined to be a top pick in the NFL draft because of his size and pure athleticism. Injuries forced him out the first part of this season but since being back, Garrett has made plays that leave you with your mouth hanging open. His speed allows him to have the advantage around the edge and his strength gives him the ability to take on double teams and whatever else opposing offenses send his way. The Browns can be happy with what they have in Garrett. He has all the tools to become a special player and dominate defensive figure in the NFL.
As far as Olympics go, Garrett would absolutely dominate in ice hockey. Put him on the U.S. National team and you’ver certainly got the best athlete out there. Even if Garrett can’t hit the puck to say his life, it’d be so much fun to watch him destroy other players on the ice. I think the rest of the country would certainly pay to see him blindside Sidney Crosby, right?
Watching Garret on the ice needs to happen and it would drive ratings through the roof.
