Dallas Cowboys: Ezekiel Elliott, Skeleton

Ezekiel Elliott is fresh off his six-game suspension but if things don’t end up working for his NFL career (sarcasm), he could have quite the time at the Olympics. Elliott has been one of the top running backs in less than two years in the league. With the combination of his speed and strength, Elliott can do everything from pass block to burning defenders for 50-yard touchdowns. So, does it really surprise you that he’d Cowboys Olympic candidate?

Elliott is one of those players who goes 100 percent at everything he does and you can see that on the field. He showed that during his dominate collegiate career at Ohio State and the same has translated over to his young career with the Dallas Cowboys. Look how much they struggled in his absence and he means that much to the success of the organization.

Like we talked about with Justin Tucker, just plug Elliott right into an event with a sled, but instead of bobsleigh, I’d put Elliott in the skeleton event. The event is solely on gaining speed downhill and that’s right up Elliott’s alley. He’s already a downhill runner so why not give him the same opportunity to do that in the Olympics. It only makes sense.

The more I talk about it the more I want to see Elliott actually compete in a couple of months. Hey Jerry Jones, can we make this happen? It would be a good offseason workout when Elliott isn’t spending his time in Cabo.
