Quenton Nelson. 5. player. 45. . Offensive Guard. Notre Dame

The Denver Broncos welcomed in a new head coach this season, and at the start, it looked like a great move. Vance Joseph had the Broncos rolling in the early going, and it seemed like his team may actually be competitive in the AFC West. Well, Joseph showed he was a first-time head coach throughout the 2017 campaign, and it was an actually surprise when the team decided to bring him back for year two.

With those rumors in the rearview mirror, Joseph can now look towards next season, and there is a lot of work to be done. The running back situation is a mess, as is quarterback, and the offensive line needs a lot of reinforcements. One pick that could help them up front on offense would be Quenton Nelson, who may be the best overall offensive lineman in this draft class.

Nelson teamed with Mike McGlinchey to give the Notre Dame Fighting Irish the best offensive line in college football this past season, serving as the team’s standout guard. At the next level, Nelson figures to be a top guard, even from day one, as he is one of the more NFL-ready players in this draft class. He will be going in the top-10, the only question is if he sneaks into the top-five or not.
