You can’t make the Saints offense play left-handed. They’re ambidextrous!

Are the Vikings loaded on defense? Absolutely, as they have the best defense in the NFC and arguably all the NFL if you think they’re better than the Jacksonville Jaguars of the AFC. Minnesota has the playmakers on that side of the ball to neutralize most offenses, just not the Saints.

See, the Saints might be the only team in football that you can’t make them play left-handed. Turns out, they are ambidextrous. In most years, this is a pass-first offense with Drew Brees leading the way. However, he has taken a bit of a back seat to his two Pro Bowl running backs of Mark Ingram Jr. and Alvin Kamara.

Though Ingram and Kamara were shut down by the Carolina Panthers defense in the wild card round, what we got instead was vintage Brees. He threw for over 300 yards like it was no big thing. Brees has played in a ton of huge games in his legendary career. This will be the biggest game of Keenum and probably many of his Vikings teammates lives.

Overall, you can never underestimate experience when it comes to the playoffs. Though the Vikings have made the playoffs more recently than the Saints, New Orleans has the more recent playoff win. That came last week at home in New Orleans. Look for the Saints to do what they do and get to the NFC Championship. Minnesota will do its best, but it just won’t be enough to stop the Saints on Sunday afternoon.
