3. Arsenal lose to Bournemouth in five goal thriller

The first of the two Sunday games sees Arsenal travel to the South Coast to face off against Bournemouth in what should be an exciting encounter. Last year the two sides played out an enthralling 3-3 draw and we’re thinking there might be more of the same this season.

The Gunners have had a strange few games, with a 4-2 loss to Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup and two draws with Chelsea. The more recent of those draws, a 0-0 in the Carabao Cup, was a tough encounter in which Arsenal fielded a strong side.

This means the Gunners could be a little tired and Eddie Howe will look for his team to thrive on this. Bournemouth are struggling this season and only just hovering above the relegation zone by a point.

Despite this form, Howe still has the support of the club but he needs to turn it around sooner rather than later. Arsenal are quite vulnerable right now and if Bournemouth come out swinging Arsene Wenger’s side may struggle to deal with them.

However, the Cherries have leaked goals this year and don’t be surprised to see them concede this weekend. We still fancy them to get all three points in a thrilling 3-2 game.
