High Salary PG

Chris Paul, HOU at PHO ($10,600): Paul had a season high 70.25 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday. If he proves to be a volume scorer in the Rockets system, that spells trouble for opponents and means big things for his fantasy value. He’s been at value or better in all but one game with James Harden out of the lineup. Expect Paul to push 50 fantasy points against the Suns. That would put him just over value. ****

John Wall, WAS vs ORL ($9,400): Like Paul, Wall hit a season high on Wednesday as well when he had 66 fantasy points against the Jazz. He had 36.75 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 23, but I wouldn’t worry about that number. It was on a back-to-back and his second game back from injury. With the way Wall is playing right now and the Magic being at the bottom of the league, Wall should be around 50 fantasy points, assuming this one isn’t over in the third quarter. *****

Tyreke Evans, MEM at DEN ($8,300): Very few players in the league have been as consistent as Evans in the last month. He’s been over 40 fantasy points in eight of his last nine. He needs 38.6 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. His consistency as a high salary guy can not be overlooked or taken for granted. The Nuggets are 18th against the position in their last 15 games. Evans will get his usual points, rebounds, and assists and likely be over 40 fantasy points once again. ****
