7. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles

If it were not for the Carson Wentz injury, these rankings would be much more difficult. With Wentz out and Nick Foles at quarterback, it gets a bit easier.

Foles, sans an improbably strong 2013 performance, has shown to be little more than a capable backup quarterback. Unfortunately for Eagles fans that is not what they want to hear as the number one seed Eagles faces a dangerous Atlanta Falcons team.

This matcup is a rare case of a Wild Card team being favored on the road against the number one seed in the playoffs. Much of that can be attributed to Foles. It is also another instance of a quarterback with big game experience versus someone with little to none.

Most of his career, except for a two seasons, has been spent in Philadelphia. He owns a career 22-17 record and 60 percent completion rate. By the numbers Foles does not look as bad as this ranking would suggest.

The bad comes from him really just not being Carson Wentz. The former number two overall pick had the Eagles offense humming. Now Philadelphia will look to lean more on their running game.

If Foles can be even capable, as he was in his first start against the Giants the Eagles could advance. If Foles looks like the quarterback Philadelphia saw in Week 16 and 17, the Eagles are in trouble.
