Snowboarding: “It’s Tricky” – Run DMC

This one was definitely going to make the list. When it comes to snowboarding, it’s tricky, as in Run DMC’s “It’s Tricky”. Few things are more American than snowboarding and Run DMC, so it’s only natural that they would fit together this seamlessly. I mean, haven’t you played SSX Tricky on PS2 before? Exactly.

It’s better than Cool Boarders. Just saying, Matt. Any who, snowboarding is probably the most fun Winter Olympics sport. It has mass appeal, as it the young kids love and the old folks do find this newfangled skiing alternative fairly captivating. Above all, it does look to be pretty tricky.

Surely, not everybody has The Knack to be a good snowboarder, but they’ve certainly sampled it a few times in their lives. Everybody has taken the trucks off their skateboard when there’s powder to be had in your yard. Just like everybody has worn a pair of Adidas before, but not quite like Rev Run or DMC.

This one picked itself. There was no other option. People have definitely watched olympic snowboarding before with “It’s Tricky” bumping in the background before. So yes, let’s make this official unofficial song of olympic snowboarding. Getting the rights from both Run DMC and The Knack is going to be hard, but will be totally worth it. It’s tricky, right?
