High Value PG

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL at DEN ($6,500): Smith Jr. is on a roll right now, hitting value in eight straight contests. Playing alongside Ferrell gives him an extra scoring option that he didn’t have when the Mavericks started another forward alongside Dirk Nowitzki. The Nuggets are seventh against the position in their last 15 games but remain inconsistent overall. Smith Jr. had 27.5 fantasy points against them on Dec. 4. That number would put him at value on Tuesday. I like him to be slightly over. ***

Yogi Ferrell, DAL at DEN ($5,300): Ferrell was inserted into the starting lineup two games ago and he’s delivered in spades. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in both contests as a starter. With J.J. Barea out of the lineup for the time being, Ferrell should see even more scoring opportunities, potentially leading the second unit while other starters catch a breather. He’s a solid scorer who has stepped up his rebounding game in recent contests. I like him to exceed value once again on Tuesday. ****

Terry Rozier, BOS vs NO ($4,300): Rozier has missed value in two straight, including a 9.2 fantasy point game against the News on Jan. 6. The Celtics have not played a lot of basketball lately due to the London trip. The Pelicans are 21st against the position in their last 15 games. The matchup is why I like Rozier on Tuesday. I do worry about Boston following the trip home, but Philadelphia looked just fine on Sunday against Toronto. ***
