2018 NBA Mock Draft: Luka Doncic could accelerate the Hawks’ rebuild

I think Lonnie Walker should go back to school, but if he doesn’t, I guess the Clippers should take him.

Thanks to the presence of Dewan Huell and Bruce Brown, Walker has rarely had control of the offense for Miami. Most often, he gets secondary ball-handling duties and is asked to make open shots and defend. But in his one opportunity to run things with Brown out, Walker scored 26 points.

The Clippers have shown how beneficial it is for them to have electric guard scoring this year. Lou Williams kept them afloat without Blake Griffin, and if Los Angeles does indeed trade De’Andre Jordan, they will be leaning harder into offense than ever before. Griffin at center with shooters and scorers like Walker could be awesome on that end.

Walker is currently on a 12-33 streak from the floor against back-to-back ranked opponents. Both were losses. You decide what that means.
