25. The Miz

Let’s go ahead and get the controversy started early with the number 25 entry, The Miz. It wouldn’t surprise me if some of you are actually using one of his catchphrases right now as you read this. The Miz? REALLY? Absolutely.

Whatever you may think of The Miz as a former reality star, the guy does his job well. Outside of the countless things he does outside of the ring as an ambassador for WWE, you can’t discount what he’s done inside of it as well. Just look at the resumé The Miz has put together over the past decade: two-time World Tag Team Champion, four-time WWE Tag Team Champion, two-time WWE United States Champion, seven-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and one-time WWE Champion, which is something nobody would have ever thought possible.

The Miz spent a lot of his early years on the blue brand, but his time on Monday Night RAW has been significant. He spent 159 days as WWE Champion after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase (another nice accolade) on Randy Orton back in 2010 and went on to the main event at WrestleMania XXVII. Sure, he may have played third wheel to The Rock and John Cena, but he can hold his own with just about anyone when you really look back on it.

The Miz has adapted to every situation given to him and run with it. He’s been partnered up with guys like Big Show, John Morrison, R-Truth and Damien Sandow (come on, The Mizdow stuff was gold) and has been as entertaining as can be with all of them. He jobs when he needs to job and steps up in big spots when he needs to as well. The Miz TV segments are fantastic and have helped to further a ton of storylines, even when they’re not his own. The Miz deserves a spot in the top 25 and that’s why he’s here.
