High Value PG

Jerian Grant, CHI at NO ($4,900): At this price, with the minutes Grant is receiving as the starting point guard, it’s tough not to include Grant on your team. He’s a low cost guard who helps you grab an extra star. With Kris Dunn out, Grant will start once again. He had 27 fantasy points against the Hawks on Saturday. The Pelicans have had trouble against perimeter players all season and Grant puts up solid numbers in all offensive categories. He had 41 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Nov. 4. He should exceed his value once again on Monday. ****

Ricky Rubio, UTA at ATL ($5,200): I still don’t love Rubio because he’s let owners down so often this season, but he’s certainly playing great right now. He’s been over value in three straight and over 30 fantasy points in back-to-back games. The Hawks are 26th against the position in their last 15 games. Rubio has hit value in just 47 percent of games this season, but the salary is low enough for him to over perform, he’s playing well, and the Hawks are a good matchup for him. ***

T.J. McConnell, PHI at MEM ($5,000): McConnell has hit value in four straight. With J.J. Redick out of the lineup, he’s seen his usage rate increase. Further helping his cause is the fact that Ben Simmons continues to struggle a bit. The Grizzlies are the walking wounded right now and McConnell has the talent, and the talent around him, to put up big numbers once again. He needs 22.8 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. He should exceed that number as he gets plenty of points and rebounds against the Grizzlies. ***
