The Undertaker finally returned to WWE television on RAW 25, and had a weird, ambiguous message for the fans. Was it his version of a retirement?

The Undertaker hadn’t been seen on WWE television since Roman Reigns handed him his second loss at WrestleMania back in April of 2017. After over eight months away from the product, The Deadman finally returned to RAW on the 25th anniversary of the show.

The WWE legend almost had to make an appearance at the event, whether he wanted to or not, given his serious impact on WWE television and the show itself over its history. He showed up at the Manhattan Center with Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler on commentary, and made a weird speech to the fans that left everyone wondering.

While WWE’s social accounts are promoting the video of the message as a “warning,” everyone was left trying to figure out if The Undertaker had just retired on the 25th anniversary of RAW, or if he actually announced a comeback just in time for WrestleMania season.

Everyone has been speculating that The Undertaker and John Cena will finally have their WrestleMania dream match at this year’s event in New Orleans, the same place The Deadman’s legendary streak came to a screeching halt at the hands of Brock Lesnar. The speech could be taken as a warning to superstars, including Cena, for a future match, but the opposite could also be true.

No one actually knows what The Undertaker meant by what he said, and everyone will panic wondering if they just saw the end of the legend’s career, just like they did after WrestleMania ended last April. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what the true meaning was, and if we’ll ever see The Undertaker back in the ring for “one more match” as the fans were clamoring for.
