22. player. 16. . Defensive Tackle. Washington. Vita Vea

Thanks to  the trade they made with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2017 NFL Draft,  the Bills will have the Chiefs first round pick in 2018. Because both teams were playoff teams in 2017, that means the Bills will actually pick twice in a row, which should help they buildup a roster that saw them make the playoffs for the first time since 1999. The Bills Mafia was loving the fact the team made it to playoffs last season, and they could be in for a nice run moving forward.

While the team will likely spend their first pick on the quarterback position, they may want to look at the defensive side of the ball with their second. Last season, the team got great play from the youth in their secondary, as guys like Tre’Davious White really stepped up in the defensive backfield. With Marcell Dareus moving on to Jacksonville, the defensive line needs help, and Vita Vea from Washington can do just that.

Vea has been one of the top defensive tackles in this draft class since the beginning of the college football season, and nothing that he did during the year changed that. He has tremendous feet for a player his size, and is one of the more well-rounded defensive players in college football. The big man is very good against the run, and can get in the quarterback’s face on pass plays, making him a very valuable commodity in a draft class that is not so deep at the defensive tackle position.
